Why Attend?

Livingston is unique, with two organizations working to serve you:

• The Homeowners Association (HOA): Manages amenities and private spaces. Residents pay mandatory fees, ensuring their automatic involvement.
• The Community Association (CA): Acts as the voice of the community, advocating for our needs with the City of Calgary.

While the HOA is well-known due to its fee structure, many residents are less familiar with the critical role the CA plays in representing our interests. We want to change that!

What to Expect at the Winter Festival

Our Winter Festival is all about celebrating the season with activities that are fun for everyone. Highlights include:

• Professional Santa Photos
• Hot Chocolate & Seasonal Treats: Warm up with free hot chocolate and holiday snacks.
• Community Gathering: A space for neighbors to meet, chat, and enjoy the season.

This event will help us build our unique identity as a Community Association, and it will be held at our own community field rather than the usual HOA facilities to make our distinction clear.

The Strategic Role of the Winter Festival

The Winter Festival isn’t just a celebration—it’s a strategic step forward for the Livingston Community Association:

• Establishing Our Presence: Hosting this event on CA grounds helps to reinforce the identity of the Community Association.
• Creating Awareness: By providing value through family-friendly activities, we aim to foster recognition of the CA’s role in community building.
• Bridging to Our AGM: Immediately following the festival, we'll hold our Annual General Meeting. This will give residents a clear understanding of the CA's efforts, distinguish our work from the HOA, and encourage more involvement in our initiatives.
